review Apollo Justice.

When I was sick I became addicted again to the videogames.
Lately my favorite is Apollo justice , justice for all for the nintendo ds, I'm a big fan of this attorney games, this is the part 4 of the saga
you don't need to play the the other 3 games to understand this one, but you will enjoy it more if play the first Phoenix Wright game specially the fifth case.
Since you play as the successor of phoenix wrigth, Apollo you get a all new cast, another teen girl sidekick, new beginning as I can say.
(but still some cameos and references for long time fans)

Since it the first attorney game designed for the nintendo ds (the previous 3 were gameboy advance remakes) it uses a lot the improvements that used in the fifth case of the first remake.
like using the stylus to check 3 evidence, blowing your ds to find fingerprints etc...

I enjoyed a lot the game, but I could probably never beat it
if I haven't played the previous games since the cases were more difficult this time (even the tutorial is a lot longer).
The characters dialogues are clever than ever,
who does not enjoy phrases like :
“anything can come from my magic panties even the truth”.

Anyway con points.-
like in the previous games there is not much replay value since you already know all the answer is you replay it its like watching a movie again since you already know the outcome.

Characters.- this is kind of a personal preference but the main prosecutor in this game is kind of a joke unlike edgewoood , Von karma, Franciska etc. (probably this was to set him apart from them as all the cast is like totally different from the old cast)

Conclusion.- all of you that enjoy text games this one is for you, great story, cool characters, dialogue , fantastic cinemas etc..

Inuyasha ending

Inuyasha the end
spoilers ahead.

last week inuyasha ended after 11 years
of adventures, my main complain of the last two years that the story didn't advance
at all, yea got amazing fights , and cool moments but before the ending we got like 150 chapters of fillers.
Everyone got depowered somehow and
get cool updates, sango, seshumaru, kikyo, inuyasha got like 3 powerups.

The end was cool somehow I predicted
we would get an open ending but Rumiko probably did the ending she wanted.

cons are the famous “Rumiko death” in her mangas often she introduce important characters but somehow they dissapear
from the story. In this case was Koga after
he lost his shikon no tama shards and got
a legendary superweapon he didn't appear again in the manga.

Despise all its a good series with a happy ending, somethings left to the readers
to decipher (like naraku real wish).
And Kagome that after 3 years to say goodbye to her family and friends left everything behind to be with her love one.

I cant wait for her next work, I hope its a comedy.

THE FIRST TIME I HEARD ABOUT LEA WAS WHEN MARVEL COMICS DID THOSE AWFUL MANGAVERSE COMICS (IN ANOTHER DAY I'll TELL WHY I DIDN'T LIKE THAT EXPERIMENT)

she did the manga punisher I didn't like at all.

next time her name ring my bell was when her home was burned down, the comic community joined forces to help her (even in my lousy comic was a link to that cause) recently I'm her blog its part of my morning internet crawl.I learned a lot from her videos and sample drawings her art is more cartoony than manga,

a while back she confessed that she liked butch hartman art in his Danny phantom series, AS I can see their art is similar the shape of the head , haircuts STYLE AND the use of claws instead of hands in her female characters and using a minimalist approach to give her characters more personality and movement.

Anyway last week I had an operation something simple called in spanish "apendicitis"

,the operation was a sucess but I was at the hospital until sunday.

A long time ago before Pilli or ligth (megaman x era for the super nes)

, I made an alien robot bat in my first comic it had a bucked head that reveils big jaws when it attack the ears were inspired from the gremlins movie

As some old robot models I made a revamp he was suppose to appear in my other webcomic ligth but as some characters it migrated to Pilli

Then I found a magazine that talked about aztec bat deities so I added that part.

it was a shame he was done just to show how strong Liza but he had a killer intro defeating Paco

Planet karen its a comic that I liked since day one.

The webcomic its a daily blog about the life of the artist.
Karen as she faces her problems and adventures.
Every updates represents a day of the artist surviving her apartament , her dying social life or her problems making the
webcomic as it started as a printed fanzine

Unlike other biography webcomics the point of view of Karen
make the strip unique and interesting.

When I started reading the comic, I couldnt stop a feeling that I felt in a long time. Planet Karen its like potatoes chips you cannot eat only one.

One of my favorites things about the comic are the little moments of life a scary bathroom or when she was locked in her apartament because some city works,

Ok this week I played Okami for the ps2, its a great game a master piece of art if you ask but the intro its to long, its great to use the brush to draw the sun and the sun appears, stain enemies and people , or cut them in half or draw plants and plants appears its like the legend of Zelda the wind waker on steroids!

They should do this kind of games for the nintendo ds using the stylus for the brush techniques.

Somwthing I posted on pvp forums because I couldnt update on blogger.
Who reviews the videogames in the magazine?

Pvp has evolved from a video game strip to geek humor and lastly to non-geek drama
But today when I read Scotts blog when we got a nintendo ds (by the way my favorite console) I asked who the hell reviews the video games in the magazine

Lets check the staff.-

Cole: a buddy and old school gamer, he is more interested in pacman ang frogger videogames than gear of wars for the x-box 360 or pokemon diamond and pearl for the nintendo ds.

Brent Sienna.- he`s not a gamer a macfan , the office artist who is in charge of the design in the magazine only touch videogames when he has to enter in a mmorpg when the story calls in.

Jade.- yes the girl who plays mmorpgs! But those +100 hours games are not the 80% of the market halo`s and not online games are dominant with the among of hours needed for those games, she only could review a couple of them in 4 months!

Franciss .- the teenage tech guy in the office, he was in the beggining a pc gamer only for a long time (in contrast the real teenagers are pc-ps2-cube-xbox players and just discriminate the ones who dont own the console they do) but most of the cool games outside some fps and mmorpgs are console ones mainly (or at least before their pc wondertwins are released) so he just play pc and maybe some x-box 360 games but he is not a qualified writer “GAAAY” and “OWNED” are not article material for magazine and his gaming excludes the playstation 2 , the gamecube and the portable systems I mean more than the half of the gaming market!

Robbie and Jase.- yea those played sport games but only wrote one article, and those are not in the magazine anymore.

Marcy.- yea otto`s rival and lve interest even she is an avid player the recepcionist are not reviewers to be fair she is now a full time employee, but there is not proof what she plays, besides kicking Francis ass in multiplayer games.

Skull.- he is an intern he doesnt write for the magazineand only plays pokemon and kiddies games

Reggie.- besides “this game music rocks” nothing

Miranda.- she appears that she doesnt game at all.

Ok let summarize this

After thinking a lot the magazine its written by teens marcy and francy are the ones who play at the magazine and they dont play at least 50% of the popular games
That raises a question does pvp magazine did really exist?
We dont see other employee like janitors or printers etc, maybe that was a trick that cole pull out to live in a geek dream world with his buddies, it can be that Cole was rich at the start of the magazine (starting a magazine its not cheap) and it wasted his fortune so he was forced to sell Pvp to Max powers in order to keep that ideal world.

And yes Im not Fox Moulder or the Question at Jlu.
Just some random thougths.

Checking my old comics before Pilli or ligth was the genesis comic (in fact my second comic I did for me and my friends at the 1999 ).
it lasted like eleven comics of 18 pages each but the first 7 sucked hard and it was incoherent and it was a pseudo secuel of another robot comic I did when I was little (more or less when megaman x was out).

I have some of them left (some of them dont exit anymore since they got to the trashcan years ago THANKS MOM)

Anyway they were done just inkpens no pencils but with a cost I had to repeat a lot of pages and took a lot of my time.

Since early 2000 I wanted to do a webcomic but I didnt have any idea how to do it, I didnt have a scanner and using the one from the school was a pain in the a**.

Meanwhile I decided to keep on watch on drunduck ( yea like someone its going to notice Pilli Adventure, ego shock) to see what its going to happen,

And lastly the more important news at last the incredible heatwave was over for the moment, the breeze was refreshing but caused a little trouble at my house since a tree was falling down and I had to take action to stop that.

In a contest forum I made my own version of the ultimate
Karmatron.
I made it to look more like a modern anime look instead of the late 70`s early 80's look that it had.
In my head karmatron its an alien that kidnaps children from the streets and its a city legend
no one has seen it but everyone heard about him.

He battles Asura who controls politicians , ecologists, cults etc to fill the world with chaos and dispair, the Karma work its to restore tha balance of the world.
